JCDF & NEDC trained people affected by insurgency in the Northeast

Organized by Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation (JCDF) Abuja, with funding from the Northeast Development Commission (NEDC) the training is aimed at uplifting the living standard of people affected by insurgency in the Northeast.

In their separate addresses at the end of the training, the Chairman Board of Trustees of Jaiz Charity Foundation represented by Alhaji Mukhtar Abdulkadir Sani and the Chief Executive officer of the foundation, Dr. Imam Abdullahi Shuaid said the foundation has been carrying out variety of humanitarian activities across the county pointing out this this particular training is focusing on alleviating sufferings of widows, single Parents, young boys and girls, Orphans and the Physically Challenged persons in the Northeast.

They commend the support of the Yobe state Government towards the success of the programme in the state.

Other Dignitaries who spoke to YTVNews at the end of the workshop described it as timely, urging the beneficiaries of the training to put the knowledge acquired into practice and avoid selling the working tools given to them.

On their parts, some of the participants thanked the organizers and assured to use the items for the purpose intended.

Highlights of the event were symbolic presentation of working tools and certificates to the participants.
