Imam Abdullahi Shuaib is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, Abuja.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Masters in Political Science (Public Administration) from the University of Lagos, Akoka and a Doctoral Research fellow at Loughborough University, Leicestershire, United Kingdom (Specialising in Zakat & Awqaf as major and NGOs/FBOs as minor). He also attended Arabic Language proficiency course at the International University of Africa, Khartoum – Sudan and a professional workshop training course in Interfaith Conflict Resolution & Reflective Structured Dialogue at the University of Massachusetts, Boston – USA.

Imam Abdullahi Shuaib is a FELLOW of Association of African Entrepreneurs of Nigeria, Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration, Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals, Institute of Classic Entrepreneurs and Certified Public Administrators of England and Wales.

He is also a Certified Public Administrator, Certified Management Consultant, Associate member of Nigerian Institute of Management, Member of International Center for Ethno-Religious Mediation, New York, USA as well as a Registered Professional of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. Imam Shuaib is also an Inductee of the International WHO’S WHO of Professionals by the International WHO’S WHO Historical Society (IWWHS), Washington, DC, USA.

He is a non-Executive Director of Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited, Jaiz Takaful Insurance Plc, El-Jaiz Investments and Services Limited and Jaiz International Halal Certification Limited.

Imam Shuaib is also the Vice Chairman of the Association of Zakat and Waqf of Nigeria (Working Group); Chairman of Majlis Shura of The Muslim Congress (TMC); Deputy Grand Imam of TMC; Imam of Ruxton Masjid, Ikoyi, Lagos; Co-Chairman of Nigeria Inter-religious Council (NIREC), Lagos State Chapter; Coordinator of Conference of Islamic Organizations (CIO), Lagos State and member of the following organizations – Advisory Board of Halal Certification Authority of TMC, Lagos State; Governing Council of Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals, Lagos; Advisory Board of Institute of Classics Entrepreneurship, Kaduna; Governing Council of Abdul-Lateef Centre for Qur’anic Memorization and Arabic Studies, Lagos and Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL), Seoul, South Korea.

He is widely traveled within and outside the country. He is happily married with children.




Lukman Abdullahi

Head of Finance & Account

Lukuman Abdullahi is the pioneer Head of Finance and Investments of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation. Before joining the services of the Foundation in July, 2015 he worked in various capacities with Cotecna Destination Inspection (DI) as Logistics Officer, Verification Officer and Quality Control (Internal Audit) Officer from 2016 to 2010. He equally worked as Assistant Project Accountant with Community and Social Development Project (World Bank Assisted), Adamawa state from 2011 to 2015.

Lukuman Abdullahi is a graduate of Accountancy University of Maiduguri and currently undergoing his Masters Degree (MSc.) in Accountancy at Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola. He is an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is happily married and blessed with children.


Umar Faruk Yakubu, ESQ.

Company Secretary/Legal Adviser

Umar Faruk Yakubu attended Federal College of Education, Zaria where he obtained NCE in education and social behavior. He also attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained LL.B. and proceeded to Nigerian Law School (Lagos Campus) where he passed the bar finals. He was into private litigation for three years before joining the corporate practice in April, 2014. He has attended training in Management, Leadership and Negotiation skills. He was the secretary to the State Accountability & Voice Initiative’ Friends (SAVI Friends) Katsina from 2013 to 2014. He is presently the Company Secretary of Jaiz Foundation from 2014 to date.

Head, Internal Control

Yusuf M. Abdullahi holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria also a Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Accountancy from Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos. He is a Certified National Accountant (CNA) from Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN) and Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTI) from Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) He has several years of experience in Auditing, Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Tax Audit, Risk Management, Fraud Audit, Negotiation and Business Development etc…



Head, Admin & Human Resource

Sa’adatu M. Zakari is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of personnel Management of Nigeria (ACIPM), she holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in public Administration from University of Abuja and a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management from Bayero University Kano (BUK). She has a very versatile personality with a wide range of experience in Administration and Human Resource Management.


She is also a Member of Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators (MIPMA), Institute of Humanitarian Studies and Social Development (MIHSD) and Institute of Strategic Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (MISEN). Presently, she is the Head of Admin/Human Resource Department of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation.



Mohammed Salis Muazu

Senior Program Officer

Muhammad Salis holds a B.Sc. Degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja; HND in Production and Operations Management from Kaduna Polytechnic. He has more than 17 years of working experience. He worked with Intercontinental Bank Plc (Access Bank) as Administrative Officer/Branch Secretary between 2001 to 2010. He joined Jaiz Charity & Development Foundation as Data Analyst / Personal Assistant to the CEO in 2012 and was later transferred to the Programs Department as Program Officer. Muhammad Salis speaks English, Arabic and Hausa. He attended several courses in Administration, Management and Project Management. He is currently undergoing his in Defense and Strategic Studies with the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Kaduna.
